Kayla from Earth is a sci-fi adventure story I have in development.
It takes place on an alien world where a handful of different species have been marooned since “The Great Fall” – an epic space battle that saw dozens of their city-ships get pulled towards the planet.
Now, centuries later, these once sworn enemies have now formed a new society, a melting pot of other-worldly cultures built on an uneasy peace.
These new cities enjoy a relative calm and peaceful existence. However, there has been a growing number of terrorist attacks. One of the city’s chief detective already has her suspicions about who is behind the attacks. There is an infamous band of marauders, and their leader is of an unusual species. No one has ever seen one of her kind before, nor do any of the space charts recognize where she is from. She has come to be known only as “Kayla from Earth”.
